Recap for the summer activities and look to the future.
Director's Message

GREETINGS!!

The Burr Oak Township Library has completed another great Summer Reading Program-'Oceans of Possibilities'! We learned about conservation and being kind to our environment. We looked at ocean/sea travel - the Titanic - how the ships were built and how they were used. We learned about the use of a Hula Hoop for fun and activity. Everyone really enjoyed interacting with the hoops.

The library has new shelving units that have arrived. We are waiting for a crew to come to put them together. We will have better places for our new books to rest before you check them out!

Our Fall line-up for activities is slow to return from the pandemic levels. We will be considering new things in the near future for everyone to enjoy/participate.

We will be returning to our Winter Hours again in November. This year will begin on Monday, October 31, 2022 with Winter hours: Noon to 5 PM. Please read over the Section on Winter Hours for the schedule.

We be closing each day at 5PM. Each day has a different start time with Saturday's staying the same at 9AM to NOON!

The closures that are coming ahead will be as follows:

Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving in November, Christmas and New Year's Day in December. Please be observant when coming to the library as a sign will be posted to help you navigate the changes (even if they are temporary).

As always, please let us know if we can order you a book from another library or purchase a book for you/library. We welcome all suggestions and ideas for projects that we can attempt to do here at the library.

Later,

Mary Anne Kennedy
